A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

You have limited fuel and must try to land on one of three landing pads in a rugged terrain. Once you run out of fuel the game ends!

Install instructions

This game requires Java 1.8 or higher, it should start with a double click of the jar file in most systems but otherwise use "Command Prompt" or "Terminal" and run "java -jar lunarlander.jar" in the same folder as where you might have downloaded lunarlander.jar to.

NOTE on a Mac system you will need to run the "java -XstartOnFirstThread -jar lunarlander.jar" command.

The game will create and maintain a "scores.txt" file to keep track of high scores in the same folder as lunarlander.jar.
